DeutschRCD-testing device “RCD2010A”
This RCD-testing device was developed for performing tripping and non-tripping characteristic on residual current circuit breakers
according to IEC/EN 61008-1 respectively additional requirements accoding to ÖVE/ÖNORM E8601 for type G-RCCBs.
The „RCD2010A“ contains various programs which can be selected by a Touch-panel:
- – 10ms positive half-wave
- – 10ms negative half-wave
- – 40ms (turn-on angle at random)
- – 50ms (turn-on angle at random)
- – 60ms (turn-on angle at random)
- – 130ms (turn-on angle at random)
- – Phase angle control 0°el. positive half-wave
- – Phase angle control 90°el. positive half-wave
- – Phase angle control 135°el. positive half-wave

Synchronous switch:
- – Turn-on angle adjustable
- – Turn-on time adjustable in 1ms steps up to 9999ms
- – Turn-on time adjustable in 1s steps up to 9999s
Time Relays function:
- – Turn-on angle at random
- – Turn-on time adjustable in 1ms steps up to 9999ms
- – Turn-on time adjustable in 1s steps up to 9999s
The test equipment has two outputs (Q1, Q2) mounted to the rear plate. Each having a fiber optic transmitting diode. This enables external switchgear of our product family to operate accordingly.

The range of functions of the “RCD2010A” can be extended according to customer-specific.
